Governor of the castle of Rocha Forte during the Great Irmandiño War in 1455.
After surviving the sieges of the Irmandade at Rocha Forte and the destruction of the castle, he was wounded at the battle of Altamira, one of the last battles within the context of lord wars in late medieval Galicia, in 1471.
The last castellan of Rocha Forte, who went down in history for his heroic behaviour in battle, died in 1489.
